I represent a fantastic Sydney based software company who are looking for candidates to assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA). In a nutshell, this involves running through a list of tasks and creating various scenarios that users are likely to encounter while using the software. Any bugs you find along the way need to be recorded and submitted back to our team of in-house developers to fix.
We're looking to assemble a team of testers who would come into our awesome Ultimo based office for some initial training. You will be compensated for the training (2 hours @ $20/hr, which is the allocation for this task.) Following the training, we will call upon preferred candidates on a project by project basis. Each project will take between 4-8 hours (@$20/hr). The tasks can be completed at home using your own equipment in your own time.
Key qualities we're looking for:
• highly organised
• meet deadlines
• relatively tech-savvy
• keen eye for detail
• web designers, UX designers, design students etc. are encouraged to apply
• Must own a computer running a modern web browser – Mac or PC.
• familiarity with eCommerce software is a bonus
Other details:
• Following the training,
if you meet our expectations, there's an opportunity for regular work
Timings:
• depending on how many participants we have per project, we expect UAT for one project to take roughly 4 hours
• the training will be around 2.5 hours, which you will be compensated for
Location and remote working:
• training will be conducted at our office in Sydney.
• following initial training, the tasks can be completed anywhere that's convenient for you so long as there's a degree of privacy

I've tested for some of the biggest banks in the world. Keen eye for detail, business and tech savvy. Feel free to get in touch to discuss further. Thanks Brett
Hello David do you still need an airtasker? I am available tomorrow for the training day and I am always available online.
I'm keen. Good eye for detail. Got a HD for industrial ergonomics (within an B Eng/Physics degree) which deals with user friendly design. Not a massive techy or eCommerce user though. Thanks (ps. should we bid on multiple pages so you get more choice on who to assign?)
About me: I'm a technical writer, between jobs, so well accustomed to checking out new products.
Still very happy to assist.
