I purchased this beautiful bed cover (or could have been intended as a large wall hanging) from India but would like it transformed into a QB cover. You will need access to QB doona specifications and access to suitable fabric that is large enough to use. This item is very special so care will need to be taken. I would like snap buttons to close the open end. (I don't know the technical word for them.)

Ok great. I'll hunt for one that way the supplies will be given to you. 2 hours is plenty, don't you think?
A flat sheet is a good idea. Or a plain cotton duvet cover (Ikea used to do a reasonable one) - would just need to attach the bedcover to one side.

Hi Anne, I compared the fabric to my Queen Doona and it's the same measurements. I'm even thinking a good quality cotton queen flat sheet may do the job. The fabric is cotton with a silver stitched embroidery. I hadn't thought about it needing a backing but would be open to this upon inspection. I could supply the bits and pieces if you advise. Please let me know if you have other questions. Ta!
Hi Claire,
Just a few questions.
What size is the bedcover?
From the photo it looks like it's embroidered thin cotton - or maybe silk - is this correct?
Is the bedspread substantial enough to be used as one side of the doona cover, or would it require a backing of some sort?
What colour of fabric did you envisage using to complete the doona cover?
Are you going to provide the additional materials, closures etc or reimburse the cost of those?
Thanks, Anne
