Details
This kitchen is in a 1 bedroom flat at the rear of a house. It is approximately 12 metres of tiling.

The room is a bit cluttered with tenants stuff and this would have to be moved to the garage and returned inside after the job is done. The kitchen cupboards are also being replaced. The new cabinets have been assembled and would have to be placed in the adjoining lounge area to get them out of the way so the tiles can be laid to the wall.

Ideally, I think this job would suit someone who works with an apprentice. However it can be done by one person provided he is strong.

I think the job would have to be done over 3 days one to move the stuff and prepare the floor with cement sheets and the other to lay the tiles and finally to grout on the third day.

I will supply all materials.

Questions(3)
To save double handling, have the new cupboards installed first, then tile up to them. This will save some time which will no doubt be used up removing the old vinyl and the 1000's of tacks used to hold the Masonite down. My availability at this stage is mid next week, possibly next weekend.
Hi there, what is the existing floor and is it ready for prep/underlay or is there existing floor coverings that need to be moved?
Also do you have images to show the shape of the room and the amount of tenant belongings that required moving?
Thanks for your time
I expect it would take about an hour to move the tenant's things.

The room is 3000x3700. The living area is appox the same size. The tenants belongings are a couple of lounge chairs, computer and desk, tv and table, dvd stand and a number of boxes. The only reason they have to be moved is to make space to put the already assembled cupboards on that side.

There is loose laid vinyl on masonite on the floor at the moment. That should be easy to remove.
