Questions(1)
Thanks Lisa. No machine will give you that guarantee.
To start with, when you say sick, is it Vomit, Gastro or or some thing else. You need to be more specific. Removing stains and odours will no be part of a normal clean. Sorry it takes time.
When any liquid goes onto carpet. momentarily it will just sit on top. If you mop that up straight away. That is good.
If left unattended is slowly starts to sink into the carpet and will travel down until it hits the carpet backing. Then it starts to spread over the surface of the backing. Depending on the type of backing it can start to sink into and through the backing, then into the underlay. No amount of vacuuming will extract this from the underlay.
If this has happened it can show up later as an odour problem. When this happens, I run the action of using a specific product to target the odour causing molecules, and convert them so there is no more odour problem.
NB: My machine boast a wopping 90%(+) removal rate of contaminants+ out of the carpet. Where steam will only achieve 30%
