I have a HIKVISION DS-7608NI-E2/8P and I'm unable to get my Dahua 4MP camera's recognised by it. I've spent days without getting results. I need someone to run me through this over the phone and I'll pay once I can see the video streamed from my camera's under ONVIF. Please contact me if you understand what I'm talking about and you're dealing with. No time wasters please.

Yes I have, I'm able to see live view through the mobile app and cameras work on their own.
Have you assigned the camera with it's set ip address manually & correct login and password in the Hikvision nvr?

Yes, I have. Cameras are set on manual, ONVIF, custom protocol with the right IP and port number (TCP, port 37777) I have set the cameras IP numbers to fit withing the NVR's internal IP (NIC) but also have tried various combinations and settings an have spent over 7 nights mocking around with the settings...
Hi Steve. the cameras are accessible on the network outside of the NVR?

Hi Justin, yes they are and I can stream live view via both laptop and mobile phones.
Run some simple diagnostics first. Cable test.. ping the cameras.. see if third party software can see them. If you have another brand of camera handy can your dvr see that....

Hi Paul thanks for the comment, yes everything is fine and I can live view through the mobile app. Unfortunately I don't have cameras by other brands handy.
