I have a fairly large archive of old workbooks, assignments etc. I'm running out of space and want to digitise as much of it as possible.

I need someone to scan as much of it as possible.

I will grossly seperate everything into a dozen or so broad groups before you start.

I need you to scan, double sided, in colour at 300dpi, and each page needs to be rotated the correct way up.

I need a bit of intelligence to be applied, keeping anything which looks like it goes together (ie, same exercise book, same project, etc) to be stored in the same PDF with a sensible name so I can roughly work out what is in the file from the filename.

There is too much to post - you'll need to physically come pick up the original documents from Randwick.

Look forward to reading your proposal.

I can have all these done for you Monday afternoon (scanning the double sided booklets) and have them put on my Dropbox and sent to you via that way or even placed onto a pen drive for you if you require.

The bid I put up includes Airtasker fee and picking up and dropping off hard copy documents with a pen drive supplied by you.

Also, can scan in colour at 600dpi if you wish?

Are they A4 pages?

Hi Jan, I'd be happy to do this for you. I have a scanner at home which I use a lot, and happy to name the PDFs and put on a USB for you. Thanks
How many books and approximately how many pages in them?

Hi Jenny, as a rough ballpark figure, there is somewhere between pages needing scanning in total. Quite a lot of these will be in hard-bound or ring-bound exercise books.

1000 to 2000 pages
This quite a big figure.
I can do this job for you but it will be more than the $ sum you mentioned
How long do you think this will approximately take?

That depends on how you approach it. If you scan double-sided using a sheet feeder, will be quicker. 1000 to 2000 pages roughly, many of them will be in bound or ring-bound exercise books
