“Ashley, came to the site two weeks after he was assigned. Anyway, he did quite few things to identify the source of the leaks and installed some lead sealers with silicon, and confirmed to me that he fixed the leak. So I released his payment. But one day after the work was done, it was raining and we found the roof was still leaking on the same spot. I immediately text him, he promised to come to fix it again. But its three weeks now, he never returns my call or SMS. Also Airtasker has no other way to help me. So I suggest delay at least 4 weeks before releasing the final payment. Otherwise, these tradies do not behave in a responsible and professional manner, run away with your money without delivering the outcome.

So my feedback about Ashley is, he may be good technically but hopeless professionally. So untrustworthy I suppose.”

“Alam I was never 2 weeks late for your roof leak, I came and sealed with lead the unfinished, not built right carport. I did alot of work for little pay, also I advised Alam that the roof tiles mortar along the valley that had come off needed to be replaced he advised me that this is not required?? I told Alam this is part of the leak, I am a plumber not a roof tiler”

Yes, site visit would be required to assess the leak source. So I welcome you to visit before your firm offer. Regards Alam

Gutter is cleaned; There were some sands accumulated before which I cleaned six months ago, but when heavy rain comes, it still overflows.
Hello Alam, I will probably need to see the site to know whats going on exactly, but you may just need to clean your gutters to allow water flow passage, you will probably find that the water stops leaking in after you have done that.
