From western digital, just clicking noise and could not mount...

Would prefer to retrieve data onsite.

I can let you know if it's recoverable or not. Clicking sound means it's a media issue which is a physical damage inside the hard drI've however sometimes it is possible to recover it. I know hard drives very well. I can definitely help with the task

was there anything special about the placement of this drive in a RAID cluster or LVM set? you should really backup your data if you want to avoid this kind of thing being the sopf

If it's recoverable I can definitely help otherwise will let you know if it's fully dead which no one can recover it except recovert specialist. I have an IT business and I work in an enterprise IT environmentseems which is very complex. I have IT degree and been working in IT for 16 years. More than happy to help.
so the fs does not mount but is it detected at bootstrap in bios?
