This is a way the manufacturer ensures they take all the profit.

This system cannot be switched to standard switches they are designed to work with those controllers only.

Why do they need to be replaced
Most of the battery operated units have stopped working. They are non-replaceable batteries and it cost $160 to replace each unit. I figured it would be cheaper in the long run to just have them hard-wired
Hi Patrick, more than likely you will have to find the switches possibly from manufacturer of the controller. If it was simple 240v electricity it would be fine to get from local hardware store. But it looks like it's low voltage with electronics involved.
