Hi brad, just im materials and consumables (grinding/cutting discs, welding wire/rods it would cost anyone $250 at a minimum. Im an experienced fitter welder and have built 10+ trailers. For this price it will include everything start to finish including cold gal paint over all the welds. i guarantee my work and take allot of pride in what i do

Thanks Hayden. I might just leave it for the moment as I only paid 500 for the trailer. If I was to supply the steel how much in labour and welding materials?
You would be looking at around $250 in labour and consumables to have it done properly. As for the steel, i can get it cheaper than just about anyone around as i work for a company who manufacture it. You would need to go at least 2mm plate for the floor
Hi brad, to weld it in you will need to use steel again. You could use a galvanised steel sheet but wherever there needs to be welds, you need to grind those parts back as you cant get a good weld on gal. You would then need to paint all the welds to try and prevent it from rusting As for the steel sheet, you are looking at about $170 for a 2mm sheet and there would be about 3-6hrs labour involved.
