I've just removed an old gas heater from the lounge room fireplace.

I need an experienced plumber to disconnect and cap the gas line that runs down into the fireplace.

It will involve accessing the roof space to work out which line needs disconnecting, so you'll need a ladder. Ceilings are 10 foot.

Can't see this job taking much more than an hour.

Friday afternoon, or sometime over the weekend would work.

Hi glen quote is to disconnect the line and blank it off for Saturday coming fully insured and compliant
Sure no problem

That sounds great, thanks for the info. Any chance you could do this pretty early on Saturday morning? Say 8.30? Let me assign and we can swap more details.
Also as above quote , includes all parts required forgot to mention that
Also if you wish can blank and leave a valve there in case future you would like another to put back in but you will not see the pipework
That should be no problem. Have done these before for a customer and capped it high up in the old fireplace, so was not seen
