Thanks Lisa
There is a also a difference between having a "tame" plumber with lots of potential work from the same agent and a one-off airtasker who has to guess on the size of the job based on the published specs. The risk is all ours in this respect.
Cheers, George
I agree with George, and some taps can be stubborn and take time. Problem is its 6 taps, not 1 or 2. 6 taps is easily 1hr +, and including time to park ect and get started, it would take longer. Anyone who knows what they are doing i think will find $40 is too low for the work. there is also the risk factor - What happens if someone rips a tap off the wall or damages a tap?

Ok thanks ill just have the landlord take care of it. I used to work in property management and our plumber would only charge the call out fee for a small job like changing the washers. I understand a plumbers call out fee is more, that's why I'm using air tasker in the hopes to get it cheaper as a cash job.
All the best
I don't know how big the job is - how many taps need fixing? Each component mentioned above has a cost so that is an unknown and could require shopping time as well. I was bidding on labour and hours only. On the information provided your limit is too low.
It's really the landlord's responsibility - a market price is about $70 house call and maybe $40-$70 per hour.

Ps. Taps are not damaged as far as I can tell
