I need someone to paint a one bedroom apartment. This includes mainly the living room, bedroom and hall way - including ceilings, skirtings and cornices. I am assuming the space will only need one coat of paint as I am only doing this for a freshen up. I am looking for someone who is well organised with their own equipment to complete the job (this is a plus). I will supply paint. I will have all the walls etc sugar soaped ready for you !
4 hours approx.

Hi Amber,
I have a few more questions that I will ask privately if assigned.
My bid assumes all water-based paint and all day off-street parking. My bid is my hourly rate.

Hi George,
It will just be one colour - white.
There will be different paint type for walls and skirtings. But I am now thinking all you will have time for is the walls and ceilings - so no skirtings.
There is one hour parking on the street and is usually available. I do live close to this apartment (down the road) where you could park for the day 5 min walk. Early starts are great ! The earlier the better !
Hi Amber,
Thanks for the measurements.
Is it just one colour - white?
I ask because changing colour between walls, skirtings, cornices and ceilings adds to the complexity and time.
Also water-based paint is preferable because of easy clean up. Oil-based is more difficult to clean up.
How easy is parking? - if the job is approx 4 hours onsite would be good, offsite may increase cost and time.
At the moment any day is good - prefer around 8am start.
Regards, George
hi amber.

what color are the existing walls and skirting?
(determines if 1 coat will do).

ceiling and cornice are flat, panel/ornate or textured?

assume skirting is gloss now, will u be sanding the skirting down for paint to stick ?

also do you have offstreet parking available.

next saturday ok for you?

let me know.

thanks,edX
