Hi Margo if using a water based sealer the products are designed to be done in the one day as drying time between coasts is minimal . Please se my reviews for reference
Margo your deck should be pressure sprayed with a high power petrol powered pressure washer before being scrubbed with reviva before being washed off again. You’ll then have to wait until it’s completely dry before it’s coated if you are using the oil based product. If your using the water based it can be coated straight after being mopped of with a sponge. That’s saves a lot of time also.
Hi Margo. I’m a deck specialist. I design, build, repair and rejuvenate them. Please see my many many 5 star reviews for Deck work. I can make you as happy as my other clients. I’m oiling or painting 3 this week already. Can you pls explain what you mean by 2 stages.

I've previously used Instagrain, Dave. It will need a clean go-over and two coats which, I think need at least 24 hours in between. Thanks, Margo
I think that you mean Intergrain. It only needs 24 hours if you used the old oil based formula. The water based is far superior and out performs the oil based product. All oil based products are being phased out as they don’t meet new environmental standards. They aren’t as good anyway.
Hi Margo I'm a licensed / insured carpenter registered with the Qbcc and more than capable of helping you out but could you post a pic please do as I can see what I'm pricing on cheers Tony
