Save a video file onto a computer from windows movie maker. I've tried for days to do it but the error message keeps showing up and I can't seem to successfully follow the troubleshooting steps online.

So, you have the work on a Hewlett Packard laptop computer. Is that right? and what operating system are you running - Windows ?, Windows XP etc.... and its version. Some versions won't allow certain extension files to be imported/exported; due to certain codec not being available.
I'll get back to you tomorrow as it's now late. But i'd be happy to check it out for you. I've done quite a few in my time - two went on the market.
Oh jeez. Sounds like you've got one bad version of movie maker. Do you know what year version it is?
The source files and everything should be in the one folder. It could be a memory problem. If you get stuck, I'm willing to come to have a look at it. You're not far from me actually.

I'll give it one last shot and then I'll definitely take you up on that offer. Thank you!
Okay. It's better to work with source files. Then edit, and compress if necessary. I'll check back here around tea time - things to do :-)

I'm still really struggling. Is there anyway you would be able to help. I'm willing to pay
Have you tried converting MP4 to mov?
