Mac for word doc - create A1 size

Posted by Sue S.

Hi, I have a word for Mac document that I am trying to format from current size to A1 and then send to print at office works.

I have gone through the usual set up instructions but when uploaded to the office works site the document preview (and prints as I have tested it) shows all the data but only over 2/3rds of the document.

I want the document to fill the A1 doc. I could then send to printers (either office works or other printer).

Help please!

If you'd prefer - send me your word document - I'll save as a PDF then impose to a flat PDF - size A1 and return the file to you

Thanks for the info Greg - I did do a PDF and uploaded it on their website and got the same incorrect result. I will send you the doc. First time airtasker - where do I send it to?

There's no direct way of doing this in the current versions of word - since they took away the custom size page.
However if you save your document as a PDF then ask office works to scale to fit the page - if they set the page size to A1 they can then scale to fit - producing a A1 print of your document
Hi Sue,
I have had to complete a lot of large scale printing over the years so will be able to offer some assistance to you. It should simply be a matter of saving as a different file format (e.g. PDF) so that the text does not move. Happy to do this for you if you would like.
