Looking for a fluent speaking Korean to help translate some business documents from English to Korean.

There's an opportunity for ongoing work.

If there's someone with an interest in fashion that would be even better as that's what this topic relates to. Thanks.

Hello Natalie:

This is Kez and I edit Korean documents that have been translated into English. My agent in Korea - and close personal friend - Jung is a member of the Korean Translation Association. She trains other translators, and is also certified to translate within the court system.

We have translated and edited many works over the years, both Korean to English and the reverse. Some of our long standing clients include the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), and the Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI).

What we understand is that translation is part art and part science. It is inadvisable to attempt to directly translate, taking a mechanical approach. What is needed is the ability to fully grasp what the writer's intent is and then faithfully communicate that in a way that is cultural acceptable in the target language. In effect, great translators need to be great writers.

Our offer is subject to seeing the actual documents requiring translation, we would need to know things such as length and style, as well as what the writer's goal is. However, I'm sure we can negotiate a reasonable fee on a case by case basis, seeing as there may be on-going work.

If you would like to discuss this further, and accept our offer, we can exchange contact details and arrange a mutually convenient time to talk.

Kindest regards,

Kez.

I also graduated from a University in Vietnam where I studied Korean language for 4 years. And I had worked for Korean companies for many years as a translator there.
Google translate apps can do it for free if that helps 👍
Using Google translate for an Asian language is not a good idea.
Or send me a PDF file an I'll do it for 5⭐️ 😁
