I need some one to fix my fisher & pykel rangehood. The on/0ff button is stuck.

Due to the age it may be more cost effective to replace the whole unit - also gives you peace of mind. Quote is to replace extractor unit like for like, e.g recirculating for recirculating or vented for vented.

Thank you for posting a task :-)

The fan motor is probably dead and it would be more cost effective to replace the whole assembly with a new one.

Thank you peter, I will kepp you in mind for the next job
How much would that cost to supply and install a new switch. Or is it cheaper to install a new rangehood ?
The model number is a bit hard to find because it's 17 years old. The switch turns on by moving / sliding the switch lever. It moves but not completely to turn on, a few sparks and trippedthe cb.
You need a new switch.....
It has a light switch separate to on/off switch. As I recall the light is working.
What's the model number? What's the switch doing? Moving or stuck?
Hello Manchula,

Thanks for considering me, do you have a replacement switch there? Is it a standalone switch or is it in a bank with others like fan speed lights etc?
