Internet issue / Cable or Modem

I have an internet issue . It keeps dropping out and showing WAN fault .
I believe its either a modem or cable issue. Supplier is Telstra through Foxtel but a tech can not come until next week. I work from home so I need the internet. looking for technician that does this kind of work and look at it straight way .

Hi Darren ehat type of modem do you have and is it a adsl2 service

Im not 100% sure but think its adsl2 . Its supplied by cable from the foxtel service. I think its a cable or modem issue . I have checked cables and cant see any issues.
