I have a Mac Pro Desktop and fast running out of Hard Drive Space on my main start up Drive which is a 320 GB SATA Disk. I only have my applications loaded on this drive. A lot of applications I have are Music and Video based and are large based ones that are needed to be loaded on the Start up Drive.

I have a 2nd 2TB drive that I store all my files on which will remain in place as is.

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz

I need someone who can Migrate my Start Up drive to a new 2 TB drive that I will be purchasing this week. It would need to be done as a complete Mirror as I don't want to have to go through re authorising and setting up preferences again on all my applications on it as that will take me days.

My Desktop has space for 2 Hard Drives that can go in it so the 320GB drive will then need to be configured to use as a Time Machine Back up for selected content.

This task will need to be performed on site, parking is on the street which is all day parking and plenty of spots to park right out front.

Yes of course, that's exactly how I have my Mac Pro setup as well. Let me know, how you'd like to proceed with this project. I can have this done for you quickly and professionally.

Hi Ash, I am running 10.8.2. Do you know a way I can run just my main applications on a SSD drive and the rest on another drive within the Tower as well. I run music programs such as Logic and Ableton Live and would love the bump in speed for loading project and VSTs. Looking at my applications I have 31gb loaded. So the rest is system related and other application data on it.
Hey Alexander,

I'd love to help out. I'm a certified Apple technician that's work at the Genius Bar for over ten years.

1. Which operating system are you currently running on your Mac Pro?

2. Do you have any plans to upgrade to Mountain Lion 10.8 once the new hard drive is installed?

Thank you in advance for your reply,

Regards,
Ash
