I bought a ceiling fan with light that needs to be installed in an existing light fitting.

It comes with a 3 speed wall control with light switch and a remote.

Great - can you place an offer for $100
That’s right a remote isn’t needed but if you want it to be wall operate it would need a new switch wire pulled through. Could turn into a big job. A remote is probably a better option. Are you in a house or unit ?

Hi Sharon you will need a extra cable ran when replacing a light fitting and it's not remote operated.
