We have recently purchased a new house and every window and door is double glazed. We desperately need to find someone to install a cat door in one of the doors/windows without it costing a fortune .

No offers were made on this task.

Hi Tania, double glazed panels (or any toughened glass) can't be cut. A cat door is expensive because the glass panel has to be replaced, and double glazed panels are costly. I don't know that I've ever seen a double glazed panel made with a hole through it for a cat door. Believe it or not, as others have said, your cheapest option is a hole through the wall of your house somewhere beside glass door that the cats can reach. Depending on what the house is constructed of, your budget offered will likely get you something fairly ordinary.
I can potentially make you one of the cat doors if you don't mind something on one of the walls?
Can you take a picture of where ideally you'd be wanting this. Cheers

Shane I'm not sure what the house is made of - it's brand new we purchased it from a builder. No doors with timber they are all stacker doors with aluminum frame and double glazed. Windows are the same? Is this something you can work with ?
Hi, is there any timber door (with no glass at the bottom)? So it could be cut out and cat door installed.
