Identify debts available for sale/purchase

Posted by Brenton P.

Due date
Friday, 29th Mar 2013
I need somebody to identify at least $5,000 worth of debts that are available for sale/assignment. The debts must arise, and be capable of enforcement, in South Australia. The creditors may be businesses or individuals, and they must be willing to negotiate the sale/assignment of the relevant debts to me for collection (including by legal action). I require written details of the amounts and nature of the debts, the contact details of the creditors, and confirmation of their willingness to negotiate the sale/assignment of the debts.

HI Teresa - Sorry, my mistake - Justine also posted offer and I accidentally addressed my response to her!
Thanks for the info Brenton! I'm pretty sure my name is not Justine though :P
Hi Justine - if any debts are sold/assigned, then the new "owner" is entitled to pursue those debts him/herself. Banks and credit card companies do it all the time - they will sell bad debts (i.e. long overdue debts) to a purchaser (sometimes for just a few cents on the dollar) who has the resources and ability to pursue those debts (whether through Court, or otherwise). Sometimes they will result in a payment, sometimes not - but if done efficiently, it can be a profitable business.
Hi Brenton, just out of curiosity, is this sort of job paid by commission (to yourself, I mean) or on a flat fee basis? It seems like a demanding job and I've been wondering how stressful it could be, but also whether you would be a contractor or employee?
Are you serious
