Hi I live out in the bush, no power (only basic solar) no landline, no internet and no mobile reception - thank you Telstra and NBN!!![Content Moderated] nsequently it is a real struggle for me to carry out any computer based task...I have about 2-300 CD's that I want ripped onto a USB stick using 'correcting' s/ware, that is, s/ware that sees a scratch and kinda patches over it so that when you play the music on your phone, car system or basic hi-fi it doesn't notice - if you play it on a good hi-fi I am sure an audiophile would pick it but I am not one of those...I need a price per CD to carry out this task please...I can receive and send txt's from home and I can call you and discuss by arrangement when i go into town, about every 2-3 days...that's it, thanx for your time reading this look forward to hearing from some competent person that can help...kind regards dizzy

Hi, where abouts are you, I'd do it in person but the turnaround time might be about 24 hours.

I can offer at least $1 per CD rips into your hard drive. If there are any files that aren't up to par or have scratches, I'll happily find a replacement for it online for no cost.

This is a per CD ripping price. It's actually $2.50 per CD, but it wont let me add in cents, only dollars. And nothing below $5.
I have previously ripped my CD collection of 500, so understand what you need and what is involved.
Happy to help.

Dizzy, if you accept my offer we can confirm details via txt or next time you are in town.

I have 100℅ compilation rate all my reviews are 5 Star. You will be happy!
You need to change your task location to NSW.
You will also need an external hard drive cos the USB stick can't hold so many CDs.

Hi thanx for the feedback this is the first time I have used airtasker, how do I change my location as you suggested??...dizzy
It is an online task because I am not coming to you house.
I will do it for $1.20 per CD plus postage costs covered by you.

Hi I don't envisage all being done at once, and yes I know this will entail more postage, I had in mind about 50-75 per week just to spread the load a bit and you are getting closer to the price I had in mind...thanx for the offer to check sound quality on every CD, don't wish to deter you but this may take a lot of your time, assuming you intend to listen to each CD/ripped album all the way through and is it necessary??
I don't plan to listen to the whole CD, but part of a couple of tracks.

But I will happily redo a CD for free if you don't like the result. Obviously badly scratched CDs may be beyond hope for some tracks. Can always buy individual tracks to download if necessary.
I can change the offer for 50 CDs if you prefer?
No worries. What is the price you had in mind? I can go lower.

Hi Josh thanx for the prompt reply...easiest way to get this sorted is for you to give me your lowest price per CD assuming I supply all h/ware, I do need to know that you use the kind of s/ware I have described...dizzy
Could do this at $3 per CD and the cost of a 64GB USB which is around $50.
Cheers.
