* you can install a pump on the outlet pipe that draws water however these hot water units aren't desibgned to work off of pressure.

Eg a new home mains pressure is set at 500kpa.

Every metre of height from a body of water is equal to 9.81kpa (head of pressure)

This means your kitchen will have more pressure than your shower because the outlet is lower.

Your shower will have 20kpa max and kitchen 30kpa max.

Unfortunately this is the design.

Pros: the tank will last longer
Cons: pressure is terrible
You can't visually or physically tell the difference between 20kpa or 30kpa 👍🏻
It would be an old gravity fed hws, nothing can be done to fix the pressure issue besides replacing it with an outdoor, mains pressure storage or continous flow unit.
