Any carpenters around? I have a wooden TV unit, fairly large,that has been stapled together, I need to pull it apart in order to carry it up stairs then reassemble with screws so that if I need to move house I can disassemble easily, I have no tools to speak of so happy to reimburse you for things like screws that need to be bought, just show me how much. Afternoons are better but I have 2 jobs, so time windows are relatively short Mon after 2pm, Tue and Thurs between 2.30-6.30pm Sat after 3.30pm

I'm not in a huge hurry to get it done right this minute but my landlord wants it out of the garage :)

Wow, thank you so much guys, currently I can't take a pic as my landlord has moved the unit so that I can barely get to it but some parts of it may indeed be glued. If anyone can do it either this Thurs or Tue 4th Sept that would be awesome! Your references sound great I would be willing to assign any of you, is there anyone particularly that would really like to do it and can on the thurs or 4th tues?
Hi Sally, More than capable of working this one out for you - See my other reviews!

Hi, I can come Tues around 2:30
hi sally,
can i ask if you can post some photos of the unit please?
like the whole unit against some common object to see the size;
and close up of the joints where there are stamples?

as the unit is large i assume it is nailed rather than stampled which is OK. If there are glued and biskit joints, then taking it part might potentially incur damage.

look forward to seeing your photos.

have drill and keen.

thanks,ed
