Ok so the major problem with my car is there's an issue with the roof (convertible)/boot. The problem causes the sensors to beep as the car thinks that the boot is not locked properly.

I have the car part (hydraulic pump) that I think may need replacing but I have no idea how to replace it. One mechanic has quoted me between $300 and $800 but he can't give me an exact amount as he doesn't specialise in convertibles.

I'm trying to find a convertible specialist who knows about the robotics/hydraulics of these cars as ta more of a robotic problem than a mechanical problem.

Unfortunately this problem was caused by someone who thought they knew about cars but they only made the issue worse so please - people who have fixed these problems before.

Hi Louise it sounds like it may just be an adjustment problem I can look at it any time that suits you

Awesome! Did you just want to quote it when you take a look at it? :)
Hi Louise. As Mat said it could be as simple as an adjustment. Other possible problems could be a faulty micro switch. I run and own a mechanical workshop that specialises in European and American cars. I have extensive knowledge and experience with the convertible roof systems. If you could explain what was done previously to the roof it may help in diagnosing the issue. Thank you.
