Seeking a qualified electrician to rewire a ceiling hanging-pendant light into a plug-in pendant lamp. Location is Newtown.

I have a pendant light with Edison mount I am seeking it to be re-wired with 3.4 m of cable and in-line switch near to the end so it may be used as a pendant lamp hanging over a ceiling hook. Need all-white cabling and white switch.

You will supply the parts and labour - Please quote in your Airtasker price, or alternatively provide an estimate for separate reimbursement of these parts by me.

Scott how high is the ceiling and are you free this Sunday ?
Not qualified. Not licenced.
Adam, fairtrading called me today,
Anyone conducting unlicenced work can be directly reported to them.
Basically give the persons name,
Location & where you saw it occur (here).
Proof such as reviews etc.. will help.
& they will investigate.
Any offers by unlicenced people can be blocked if reported
That's a bayonet mount though ?

On the box it says Edison screw required and the other photo is a bayonet fitting..
It's an Edison screw bulb that's needed for the light yes, but it attaches to a simple bayonet fitting. The fact that you don't know that and that you can't see that is scary. And a first year apprentice should know that.
Don't worry. He was asking if a C2031VA was push button yesterday.

Forget the details of what I have. Basically I want a pendant lamp made using only a lamp shade, and I want it with a switch and wall plug
Scott have you got a picture at all? Seems a bit involved. Why are you changing to a bayonet rather than es?

Took out the reference to the mount change, but I think you have confused me now
Yh you changed bayonet to Edison
Scott W.poster
I did not. I just took out that I wanted the edison changed to bayonet
Hey Scott, can you please provide us some photos to make the details a bit more clear. Thanks

Hi Ahmed, no prob. Have posted one of the product. Can send better pics later
Scott one thing to keep in mind, the pendant light fitting you have is a Edison one, you don’t need a bayonet mounted fitting.
He wants a bayonet...
