I need a few small jobs done, ideally Friday morning (after 10am)

1. Three halogen down lights aren't working when new bulbs are inserted
2. Three holes needs to be drilled & picture hooks/nails inserted
3. A fly screen needs to be put back into a bedroom window frame
4. A toilet is running a bit, perhaps a new washer is required?
5. Front door knob has come a bit loose & needs to be re-attached/screwed back on (it’s a decorative door pull style, the door knob doesn’t actually need to turn)
6. A bedroom ceiling fan is working, but is making a clicking noise

Thanks for your response, Brian. Are you available on Friday at 10am? I assume you bring all your own tools, etc? Also, are you able to provide any materials necessary, e.g. plug/nail to hang 2 pictures, and whatever might be necessary (if anything) to fix the toilet? (obviously happy to reimburse cost of materials). I think we've had the rattling noise in the ceiling fan before and I managed to fix it, so fingers crossed it's not too tricky. Thank you, Alison
Questions(1)
Hi Alison, Friday at 10am would be great and I have nearly as many tools and fittings than Bunnings! I have a circular rubber seal for Caroma toilets but getting the parts out to fit it at the bottom can sometimes damage them due to the plastic clips hardening due to old age in chlorine added water. In the worst case a new plastic set might be needed which would be either $20.48 or $43.10. I have ladders to access the fan and if it was fixed before that's good to know. Fittings for pictures depend on the wall and I can cater for all surfaces including plasterboard, gyprock, brick, concrete, wood. I once hung a 34kg antique mirror on a gyprock wall. Below is a 50kg mirror I needed to drill into studs for. Sometimes, for really heavy items I need to drill into a vertical wooden stud or even run some wood between studs which is hidden behind the picture. After assigning me the task we can swap details. Kind Regards, Brian
