Hi Michael I'm a licensed carpenter / Handyman registered with the Qbcc and more than capable of helping you out . Please see before and after shots of previous work cheers Tony
Hi Mike. My advice is to be careful of any one who has not used a floor sander before. They can create more damage than its worth. You’ll need the hire both a floor sander and an edge sander. They will need 3 grades of abrasives. Course medium and fine. You will need multiple belts in each grade for the drum sander and multiple disks in each grade for the edging sander. On top of this your tasker will need to own a HD 100mm belt sander with the 3 grades as well as a detail sander and a random orbital sander. This will be a full days work at least if you want a quality job. The tasker will also need lambswool applicator and brushes. As well as a blower and a vac and mops. Is the deck screwed or nailed please? Are the nails done headed or bullet headed?
