I can help digitalise the VHS tapes, I've done this before for clients. I cannot help with the 8mm film or clean the VHS tapes. The quality all depends on the tapes as well, they will only be as good as they play through a VHS player.
I can pick the tapes up from you if necessary. It's a big job with at least 15 hours ingesting the videos and then however many hours it will take to export them to the format you require. Will probably be able to turn this around in 1-2 weeks.

Hello Jason,
I can give it a go. It really all depends on the quality of your tape. There is a point when vhs tape becomes too degraded to digitise and there is nothing one can do. I used to do this all the time at UNSW for the science and language department so I could help you out. But you have to verify whether the tapes do play on a VHS player. Is this possible? Thanks

hi fabio, if you can do both, then thats ideal... but happy for just the tapes to be to converted to hard drive (provided by me) understand for cleaning that the fee is not enough. have not used this before... was hoping people would be able to put forward quotes...
Hi jason, do you need someone to clean the tapes for you or to convert them to a hard drive ? :)
