Convert HTML resume to MS Word/DOCX

Posted by John M.

Due date
Saturday, 11th May 2013
I'd like someone to convert my online (HTML) resume to MS Word format.

Little embarrassing to be so public but I guess you need to see it before you'll take this on: [Content Moderated]

You will need:

* a recent copy of MSWord (or something strictly compatible)
* lots of experience at taming word to submit to your will
* an eye for detail

Do the best you can to make look as much like the online version, but no need to kill yourself... if it makes the task considerably easier it would be acceptable for you to stack everything vertically (as seen when you make your browser window really narrow/mobile version).

Specific requirements are:

* match the font, colours, general look as best you can
* _must_ include the icons (I got those from [Content Moderated] and [Content Moderated] although one (CF) is actually a tiny image)
* size and set the images appropriately (obviously)
* the hyperlinks are clickable from word
* ensure it is easy for me to add a new project (eg: cut/paste/edit an old one)
* set up the document styles correctly (for extra credit)
* MSWord ".docx" format

I'm not going to be particularly anal about what I get but I will only accept a result that meets the primary goals:

(i) a person comparing the online and word formats won't have any doubt whatsoever that the two are effectively identical

(ii) it is easy for me to cut/paste in new projects and jobs in Word

I can give you the web source code if that helps you get the job done in some way.

Hi John, Will again. As per my original post I promised an 5 star job - since I have done work for you before I thought I would be best to give you little demo of the work I can do.

Below is Dropbox link to small sample of Resume as a demonstration of my ability and workmanship - hopefully this is help. Cheers! Will

I have the FontAwesome font already installed on my computer, so can easily insert the icons and manipulate. The issue comes when the file goes to anyone else. Unless the file receiver has the font installed, the icons will just appear as squares. So unless screen capping your CV and creating pictures of the icons is an option, I'm not sure how to get around that issue. I'd love to know a solution though! Good luck!
Hi John, are you looking for a new job? Ill save u $50 I don't care what ur resume looks like
Hi! I'd plan on use pages to complete this task, which would make it super quick and easy to create a document with everything required - after I finish it lets me export to MS Word, where you can then do whatever you'd like to it. I could have it done for you in an afternoon :)
Hi John once the template is created you'll be able to copy and paste them to other word docs as well :)
