Details
Simple test page required to determine if the jQuery Mobile “slide” page transition can be used to mimic a slide panel.

The goals are to determine:

- if the translateX value (or other method) can be used to stop the transition part way across, effectively mimicking a slide panel
- how scroll will work with this method
- browser/device compatibility

Page features:

- fixed header & footer
- fixed tab attached centre right. Position must not “jerk” when browser bar minimises on scroll. Tab is tap target for RH panel
- content is simply dummy text

Please see attached images.

Yes. JQuery is fine.

Just to clarify- classic slider in behaviour, yes, but done with the jQuery slide transition specifically. It won't let me post a link here but Google knows the details . Cheers.
Ok. All good. Confirming delivery of html, css and js. to do the above.

Built as per mockup thanks.
Don't worry your clarification above is good. A classic slider. Do you want this as raw JS or attached to a current site.
