Anyone knows of any cheap comprehensive insurance? I think it is Bingle but someone might know even cheaper. I have gone through the site comparison where a list of insurance providers are compared with their prices, but that is not that helpful as Bingle who is not even on that list is actually cheaper than any of them. There may be someone who is cheaper than Bingle ?

If you have an old car, just go for 3rd party. I have a 2002 CRV sport with only 3rd party. I dont see value in insuring a car with current value of $4000 by paying $1000 a year on comprehensive
My personal opinion is not to go for a cheap insurance unless you really can't afford it. The main purpose of insurance is to assist when you have a claim. Many cheap insurance like Bingle/Dodo etc provides cheap insurance but you face issues when you submit claims
It does depend on your age, your previous record, if you have had an accident claim in the past, the type of car you drive, where you park the car, the amount of kms you drive, if you use the car for work, who else will be driving the car etc.

Budget / RACV / Bingle are your best bets

All insurance work similarly and some are cheaper than others regardless of your car or record
Depends on car and your driving record
