I'm after someone to catch a tame stray cat from outdoors & take him to a vet for me. Or at least do the first part. You must have your own pets & love animals. This is for a small but good cause.

There's a lovely 3 year old cat that when he was young I caught, neutered, & returned. Which seemed like a good idea at the time but now the weather is cold I want to see if he can live with me.

He's very sociable, & seems to be in good health. He lives in the gardens near a building where I used to live. I feed him every morning at 5:30 in darkness so we're not caught by people out walking dogs. He lets me pick him up but he's wary of people & dogs, as you'd expect. He's never attempted to scratch or bite me.

Having lived outside all his life it's been difficult to get him near a trap or into a carrier to move him. If you're to do this work then you need to be patient, & able to somehow catch him (without hurting him) and get him into a carrier. You then would take him straight to a vet in Carlton (a 30 minute drive) or Randwick as these vets will take & treat cats like this. Once you've given him to the vet your work is complete as I'll then get the vet to do a check-up before we bring him to his new home.

Before you contact me you need to think about how & when you would do this. It may take several attempts and he must not be hurt. He will whine a lot in a cage & on the way to the vet & you need to be able to cope with that!

Good Evening Mark! This is really kind for you to treat the cat so good! I am having two cats & two dogs with me so I am really patient with pets! Plus experiences "catching" my cats from the bushes as they escaped from the house to play outside.
I will need you to be there as well when I try to get to him. details can be discussed once the job is assigned! :) Regards, Coey

Hi Mark, No probs,i hope you get him! I'm more than happy to help if not. Yes Teddy (didn't realise his name) is a legend lol. He doesn't blink an eye or move for anything lol.
Enjoy your time off and good luck!
Thanks again Jules :)
