I would like a timber bench seat which is in an L shape. The bench part of the seat to have a hinged lid. The right hand end to have doors opening from the centre out. Pine timber for outside is fine. Close spacing preferred as it will be used for storage and I would like to minimise dust inside.

Hi Pete,
Yes, could you submit a quote for labour only for now.
I'll investigate the cost of the pine on the weekend but I expect you are right. I might need to use pine sheeting for the back panel and maybe the bench seat to reduce the costs a bit.
Hey Kellie, I've done some initial calculations and slatted pine timber will work out at the size you want it to be more than double the amount you have budgeted for your bench. Would you like me to submit a quote for labor only, or would you like me to calculate an exact build cost? Pete 😊

Hi Pete,
Thanks for responding so promptly. I was after slatted timber. I was going to paint/stain the timber myself but if you can give me a quote for the painting that would be great. I don't have a set timeframe so put the end of May. If it can be completed earlier, that would be great.
Thanks, Kellie
Hi Kelli, I would love to construct this bench for you. Could you please tell me would pine sheeting be acceptable as an outside material, and that would completely eradicate the entry of dust to the bench. Are you wanting the bench painted, or what finish are you looking for? What time frame are you hoping to have this completed by? Thanks, Pete.
