We are looking to build a metal trellis/ pergola to cover our garden that will be used to grow vine and provide shade.

It will be standing on 4 or 6 pillars. See attached a few images that show roughly what we have in mind.

The dimensions are roughly:
2m wide
3m long
2m high

You will need to provide advice around the design and materials.

Hi mate I run a landscape construction business and have a guy I use that does steel fab for me so can easily get this done for you.

Happy to give you advice and discuss your various options to get this done, this price is just a starting point.

Matt seems to have the required skill set too
Blenard, your original post showed a pic that indicated the trellis was made of 20 x 20 reinforcing mesh.
Relatively inexpensive and easy to form. You could probably still use it mounted on your posts.
It will rust, however other size galvanised mesh is also available.
Love your concept, will be amazing when done.
best way will probably be to design it so it can be put together in sections which will make it more of a basic design and cost due to hrs involved
Yes the posts would probably need to be in concrete. I'm not sure what's best about putting it together but yeah we'd not want too much damage to the fake grass.
also I take it that I have to design it so it can be put together in sections so you can put it together because if I make whole thing on site will damage the turf
