My tiler is going to tile over the wall tiles in the bathroom. I require a plumber/electrician to do the following before and then after the tiler has been

1. Remove & put back sink Vanity/ disconnect tap mixer
2. Remove & put back storage vanity above sink
3. Remove & put back 3 towel rails.
4. Remove & put back showerscreen with sealant
5. Remove & put back toilet
6. Remove & put back bath tap, shower head & NEW mixer

I've done this once when the new floor tiles were put down so it should take 2-3 hours to take out. It will take longer to put back with a new toilet will require installation and a new mixer in the bathtub, especially with new tiles tiled ontop of the existing tiles. I'd like to get a fixed quote. Please ask questions. Photos herein. Most importantly. I will want to fix the dates of removal (Day 1) and have the replacement on Day 4 as the tiler will require Day 2/ Day 3 to tile and for tiles/glue/grout to dry.

Thanks Geoff. So we are confirmed. I will assign the task on 18-19 Sept when I'm back in Sydney. I am away for work. I'm counting on you to be there at my house in Vaucluse at 7.30am on Thursday 28th. I'm sending my 3 kids out to sleepovers for 2 nights (Thurs/ Fri) and then we will stay in a hotel for 2 nights (Sat/ Sun) and so you can come back on Monday 2nd October and fit back the vanity, toilet, rails, showerscreen. Does that Monday 2nd Oct suit?

I've bought 2 new Groe mixers. One for the Parisi vanity and the other just the mixer for the wall. I'm telling you this not to bore you but to make sure you know I've got kids to move around and as this is the only bathroom for now, we are dependent on you being their for the morning of Thurs 28th and Mon 2nd Oct. Thanks Geoff

Geoff. OK fair enough. I've done 5 house renovations in 20 years and built one so not a rookie. We tiled the floor 6 months ago and took out the vanity and replaced it as well as tap mixers, etc so I reckon it'll take 2-3 hours to remove everything. I'm planning that for like 7.30am so my tiler who has done a lot of work for me over 10 years (including 3 tiling rooms at this house) can come in immediately after you. I'm thinking Thurs 28th Sept as Im away for a few weeks for work and then kids go on holidays on 22nd so we can then go away for Sat/Sunday night while tiles dry and you come back Monday 2nd November. Does that work?
