Ikea Pax wardrobe with sliding doors. Two 75W x 58D x 236H wardrobe shells to be joined to form total width 150W x 236 H. Because of it's height, the unit may need to be secured to bedroom wall (brick) - will need advice on what product to purchase and will need help to attach the product to wall.

If there is enough clearance with the celing (celing to floor 245cm or larger) it's only a 1 person job. Roughly 4 hours to complete.

What days are you available to have the task completed? I am available from this saturday onwards and can reschedule my other jobs this week except for wednesday at this stage.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for your reply. Please ignore my asking price. I'm new to this website. I'll guess that the work will take 2hrs @ $30ph and will need two people. $120? Not sure how to change this in the original posting.

Hi carmel,

The scope of works you have described does not reflect the asking price. If you can find someone willing to do it for that price and they are compentant, jump at the offer.

Ikea's recommended service (install2u) would charge you a minimum of $225 just for the assembly alone (quoted from the ikea website) and another company that is also recommended by ikea (Aussemble) will charge you $295 for glass doors and $275 for timber doors PLUS $80 just to affix the units to the wall.

Hi again Sean,
Also wanted to add that the internals are basic - two rails one shelf. we can do that ourselves. We need the shell assembled and aligned mostly, There is enough room on the floor to assemble. It's in a bedroom approx 390 long and 3m wide. The room is cleared except for bunk beds in one corner approx 1m wide.

Hope this helps
Hi Carmel,

What doors are you putting on the wardrobe? Also what height are your ceilings? Will you have enough space to assemble the frames on the ground? and are you fitting the internals yourself or is that something you wish to be dones as well?
