Hello! Requesting some diagnostic help for my 1999 Barina - it's overheating and I think it's the fan or the relay switch

Not really much time to get to mechanic so would appreciate mobile service if possible!

Thanks

Hi Laura,

I could have this diagnosed for you right away. I have owned and worked on hundreds of these cars in the UK, they are known as a Vauxhall Corsa in Europe. It could potentially be the fan, fan switch, relay switch, thermostat, water pump or worst case scenario the head gasket unfortunately.

If you’d like to assign me to the task I could come and diagnose the problem at a time which suits you.

Kind regards,

Chris

Hi Laura,
Yes certainly 25 Westcombe Street Darra is the address. I personally wont be there but my manager Calvin will certainly be able to help, I will let him know you are coming.

Thanks - can you please let me know how much you charge?
$50 for the inspection, and we will do a quote to fix it. If there is a major problem we also offer finance for repairs.
Hi Laura, I own a mechanical business in Mt Ommaney/Darra area. Your issue with the car will almost certainly be the ignition switch or key not retuning properly after you start the vehicle. I have encountered this problem before with these vehicles. Depending on you location we can organise to get the vehicle towed to us quite cheaply and complete the repairs for you.

Thanks Adam - if I bring at 4pm today are you free to have a look at it?
Hi Laura, not able to help but I had the same issue with mine and it eventually caught fire. The whole of Zupps Aspley mechanics could not fix it!
Have you tried hiding it down ?
Hi how much your car value
