I am assuming it’s the dripping in the pipe when it rains mildly. But lately when the rain stopped, an hour later you still can hear dripping annoyingly so I’m not sure it’s the pipe or the gutter or something leaking? This sound now can continue for hours. It’s driving me nuts at night! someone posted a vid on YouTube sounds exactly like what I have been hearing pointed out when the water reduces to drips , the mental resounds ( I don’t know what that means). They fixed by changing the elbow to a plastic one. It’s on the second story so please make sure you have a ladder. Thanks.

Required one gutter to be replaced and levels for water to run straight to 1 single down pipe

The gutter on my 2-storey house is noisey when there is light rain (dripping water on the inside of the steel gutter). Need someone who has a long ladder to fix with rope, chain etc inside the drain for the water to travel down.

I could be completely wrong but when it rains I hear dripping next to my room. Sounds like it’s the gutter but only happens when it rains mildly and it’s annoying that I cannot sleep at night. Weirdly when it is pouring I cannot hear it. Someone suggested it could be leaves stuck in there but I really don’t know. Keen to get this fixed ASAP so I can sleep.
