Hello, I need 2 people to move some heavy boxes, small furniture pieces, and shelving units (3), from our small apartment to our garage. Some boxes will simply need to be moved to our patio. You will also need to be able to lift bed up against a wall in the bedroom. This is a 2 person job (side note - I just had surgery a few weeks ago and am not allowed to lift anything). I live on the third floor - so must be able to do stairs (there is no lift). The job should not take longer than 2 hours. Let me know if you have any questions. This isn't a 'removalist job', although we are looking for a ute to help us move house in Mangerton. Unfortunately a big removalist truck cannot fit down our new battleaxe driveway in Mangerton, so we've been informed by our removalist company that we will need to rent a ute (apparnetly better than a van, as no roof), so the removalists can unload our furniture onto the ute, which we'll then drive down our driveway for the removalists to then unload from the ute at the house. We don't know exactly what time the ute will be needed on Saturday 11th November yet, as we will be meeting our removalists in Sydney some time that morning, and then driving down to Mangerton to start unloading. So the start time depends on how long it takes the removalists in Sydney to pack up their truck and drive the 1.15hr trip down south. Borrowing the ute shouldn't take all day, but I reckon it will be used for at least 2-3 hours during the day, perhaps more, just going up and down the driveway. Photos of the windy long driveway are attached. Happy to pay around $150 for the ute owner to be involved on the day, by driving the ute up and down the driveway for us. Or we're happy to much pay less and just borrow the ute, to then do the driving ourselves. (Considering we are already paying heaps for removalists to do all the lifting and driving from Sydney etc, we aren't looking to spend too much on this additional ute solution).
