Qualified plumber required to assist renovation of a small apartment kitchen, including turning off water/gas, plumbing and installing new sink/mixer, and plumbing for dishwasher. Current plan is to shut off water and gas on 10 Feb, with kitchen removal and then install to happen over the following week. Will need advice on when plumbing needs to be positioned for new cabinets. The sink and dishwasher will be going to very similar position to existing kitchen, but in new cabinets. Existing gas oven/cooktop will be replaced by electric oven/cooktop, so gas will need to be made safe. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 10 February 2023

kitchen sink is falling down due

The metal hose tap downstairs turns around on itself and won't stop the water (I think the metal thread is stripped). The pressure is really high and the water is running from the tap. The water also slightly leaking from the connection of the tap to the pipe.

Toilet is simply leaking from the cistern where the flush is into the toilet bowl (It's not an external leak). It just means there's a lot of wasted water if it runs constantly. It's not a really slow leak, but it's not really fast. I would estimate that if I stop the cistern from refilling, it would take about 15 minutes for the toilet cistern to be empty (a lot of wasted water). Then the sink requires a new mixing tap. It's a really cheap one and I'm happy to replace it with a really cheap option (like the ones I've seen in Bunnings for $30-40). It is leaking at the base onto the bench and also has a split in the spout, which can spurt when the water pressure is high. We're planning on renovating the bathroom and kitchen next year, so I simply want a cheap fix. Everything will be being replaced again then. Would really like a qualified plumber.
