    Digging a stormwater drainage trench

    $500

    St. Ives NSW, Australia

    29th Mar 2020

Looking for some muscle to dig a trench for a stormwater pipe, 18m long, 20cm wide and on average 40cm deep, front of the house. Will likely have some roos in the area due to large trees nearby. Would prefer not use an excavator, may have a garden water pipe in the area. Also need to dig through 1m of sandstone paved footpath. Last need two pits dug for stormwater pit bases, 50cm wide by 100cm deep.

    Happy customer. 👍

Drainage and removal of Water tank in ceiling

    $500

    St Ives NSW, Australia

    16th Sep 2015

    1) stop water supply by closing off supply copper pipes 2) drainage of broken hot water column into tray (this will require cutting a hole in the bottom of the cylinder as it is completely sealed and does not have a lid that can be popped of 3) removal of the column from the ceiling. the diameter of the tank is approx 1.4 metres. It may require cutting into pieces. The removal of the tank should be timed when the gyprocker removes the ceiling panel below for ease of removal Additional notes: This gravity fed hotwater tank is about 45 years old. It is in the roof. It has leaked through a ceiling panel. Being an older style, poorly designed tank, the drainage pipe is not at the bottom of the tank. It is higher up the column. Hence a hole must be cut at the bottom of the cylinder to drain remaining water 2) Removal of hot water column from the roof: This potentially may require heavy duty cutting tools such as a jigsaw to cut the tank into parts to be removed through either the rabbit hole of the ceiling or when the ceiling panel below is removed by the gyprocker You will have two able-bodied and highly competant people (myself and my dad as extra labour) to help out. We would prefer that the person who arrives is insured and experienced with this specific task. We have Building and contents insurance as well.
