Replacing the exiting garden tap with a new brassware. The current one is leaking slowly and old.

We have an existing tap that needs to be reconnected and a toilet cistern that continuosly leaks into bowl.

We got a new washing machine and installed it. However this has left the hot water outlet open under the sink and when we turn on the tap the water flows out through the open outlet. We bought a steel cap to close the outlet however it appears we haven’t bought the right size or haven’t sealed the cap properly as it’s still leaking. Leaking from the gold cap pictured

I have a leak in the pipe between my water meter and a external tap that needs fixing

Hi folks, it seems I have a hot-water issue... Inside the house I get cold water (as normal), but my hot water is also cold. approx. 30seconds in to running the hot water tap, I feel a slight change to the water temp. but soon after it stays/remains cold. The hot-water release/pressure valve pumps out hot water still if I release it and the gas heater does seem to heat the water... When I feel the cold water inlet "hose" connected to the hot water system it feels hot, yet the hot water outlet "feels" cold. When i then go in side to turn the hot water tap on... the cold water inlet goes back to being "cold" and the hot water outlet feels slightly warmer than the cold water inlet, but not by much. I suspect it is the blue-cap temp. valve... but can't be 100% sure. I need someone to replace the hot water temp valve. To check the water is then pumping out hot water as hoped, and if it is something else to determine what the problem could be. The gas hot-water heater is an "Aquamax G390SS" some pictures attached.

Updated: Task is to fix the leakage of the main water pipe. The leakage is underneath a concrete step, hence busting the concrete will be required. There is no need to repair the concrete step afterward as the house will be demolished in a couple of months. I can hear the leakage and see the water comes out from underneath the concrete (see photos), so the leakage is probably 50 cm to 1 m from the exposed pipe. Happy to provide more details & explanation over the phone.

I’ve used a plastic pipe connector as a temporary fix, but I’m concerned about its long-term durability. Installing a new drain trap or reconnecting the old one properly would be ideal.
