Hi, I need an experienced photographer to take my headshot and some wider shots for my author biography and portfolio. I am after a creative brief or expertise to help me with bringing this to life. The headshot will be on the inside of the book but I want something unique and different, which is where my creativity lacks. My home is quite sterile and clinical so if we were to do an outdoors shot or an indoor shot, I don't know what would make for a good background. I am not opposed to doing it at home but I do want these to look nice. We don't have a nice big bookcase and it's all very white and light, not very homely. I am a romance writer and a lover of books/reading so if anything springs to mind for you, I'm all ears. I was hoping to do this on Saturday morning 12 March as I have an engagement on that day so my hair, makeup, tan etc will all be done so I don't want it to go to waste. I live in Quakers Hill but I'm happy to travel up to 15 minutes in each direction if needed or you can come here. We do have a few parks around. Do you have any prices and packages for this type of thing I am describing, and what do they include? Also, are you available? I guess that's the biggest one on the date provided above for 930am or 10am start (for an hour shoot or up to 1.5 hours). I would like all the photos to be photoshopped and edited and would require them on a flashdrive so I have them as a digital version. Download option is good too. I don't think I'd change outfits, but I do want a variety of shots up close, medium and scenery. The headshot can have a blurred background, or colour, but it is more about the lighting. The photos will appear inside the book (one headshot), on my author website, social media and other marketing material that my publishing agent sees fit.
