i have a lovely antique wooden drop front desk which i have accidentally made a mess of - i used a glass finish resin on the inside of the drop down part to reinforce the wood when using, however it went everywhere and the resin set uneven. i have sanded both sides of the drop down part back with 240 grit as they both got resin on them and i’m unsure where to go from here. i have accidentally taken off some of the original stain whilst sanding it all back. so i’m guessing i need to sand it all back a bit more evenly, needing a stain match and a clear coat perhaps. it’s a very important piece to me and my family if anyone could please help restore it 😭 i can locate and supply all equipment that is needed if it helps - Due date: Flexible
