Replace mortice lock for entry door

My apartment's mailbox has been vandalised which means I can no longer unlock it with my key to gain access to mail (it is impossible to turn the key after insertion). Please see attached pictures for more details. The 2nd picture was taken last year when it was damaged and shows the internal structure of the mailbox which was potentially installed by www.letterboxesofaust.com.au.

I want to install SAMSUNG SHP-R80 on my metal door in addition to the old existing door lock. I have attached a picture of the door. Note: the door material is metal. Prefer to be done on weekends

fix the front entrance door lock, the problems are 1. the handle from the outside facing part of the door is loose , and 2. the key that turns from the outside, sometimes doesn't turn smoothly. the key lock is below the handle.
