Houseproud homemaker wanted to assist with the regular cleaning/laundry turnaround of a sweet little studio-size guesthouse in Mornington. The job includes cleaning the property and washing/drying/ironing the bedding and towels at the end of each guest stay. I am looking for someone who enjoys this kind of work, gets a lot of satisfaction in getting things just right and is totally reliable. You need to be more than just a cleaner who breezes through just taking care of the basics; we are a successful business because we are a team of people who enjoy offering properties to the highest standard. Regular work will be available for a long time to come servicing this and potentially other properties in our portfolio. Cleaning will need to be done at the end of guest stays and we will block a period from 10am on the day guests leave to 2pm the next day when new guests could potentially arrive. You will most likely have lots of advance notice of when cleans are due but the least notice would be 2 days ahead in the event of a last minute booking. The laundry each time would include a queen fitted sheet, a queen doona cover, four pillow cases, a small thin bathmat, a hand towel, two bath towels and a tea towel. There may also be a queen flat sheet which some guests use and some don't. These need to be washed, dried and bedding ironed. Often the cleans are very quick and take much less than an hour, sometimes they take a bit longer but on average this is a fairly straightforward job with a fixed fee payable of $120 to include all cleaning and laundry each time. The guesthouse has a small outdoor eating area and garden which may need a quick sweep from time to time but we don't expect you to do gardening as well within the fee. - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 12 September 2022
