What do land clearing services include?
Land clearing services near you involve removing trees, plants, and shrubs from an area using heavy equipment like chainsaws, bulldozers, excavators, or other heavy machinery. Whether you want to have your garden cleared to enhance its look or prepare for a major construction project, land grading and clearing can help you achieve the final result you want. When you book a land clearing service, expect your contractor to use one or more of the following methods:
Cut and grind
If your property only has a few trees to remove, the cut and grind land clearing method can be suitable for you. Depending on your space and available equipment, your Tasker can first prepare the land by cutting weeds and brush using tools like root plow or brush mower. Then, using larger machinery, your Tasker can take down the trees and put them in a pile. Doing this site preparation technique makes it easier to move the debris later. As for stump removal, your Tasker can get it done by using backhoes or trucks. Then, your piece of land can now be mulched! Your Tasker can use forestry mowers to take everything down, turn them into pieces, and spread them across the land. Â
Grubbing and dozing
Want to cover a lot of land area at a fast pace? Choose grubbing and dozing! This process starts with manually removing larger roots. Your Tasker can dig around each root, cut off any long ones, and ensure that no other plant life nearby will be damaged. This is followed by using a bulldozer or chain to clear out unwanted vegetation. Before doing this, let your Tasker know if you have desirable plants so they can steer clear of them and ensure they are not accidentally removed. Keep in mind, though, that this quick process can leave behind large holes, creating a messy and rough finish.Â
Pile and burn
Why not the pile and burn method for those looking for the cheapest way to clear land? It’s also a relatively quick process! Your Tasker can first clear out your land using a skid steer, tractor, or any equipment needed for your land. At the same time, they can move everything into piles. After everything’s been piled up, your Tasker now conducts a controlled burn. This is an effective and fast way to clear out your land, but keep in mind that if you choose this, you will not be able to selectively eliminate trees, brush, or other vegetation.Â
This method can be perfect if your land has invasive vegetation that has spread uncontrollably.  After having your land cleared, they may be small pieces of trash left behind. You can get someone to collect your garden waste, so you don’t have to pick them up yourself!

Land clearing (grass/weed) - pre build
$150
Coopers Plains QLD, Australia

Hello, We will need to get the land cleared (any vegetation and debris/rubbish) for a house construction. The land is 10x40 metres and is indicated in the photo by a blue border line. No trees at all. There is only grass, weed, and weed shrubs. Minimal amount of debris and rubbish (as you can see in the photos). Weed killer will need to be applied, please. This big lot was subdivided, so we only need the service done on the half on the right hand side of the photo. Like I said, I tried to highlight the boundaries in blue and I hope this gives you a good idea of how much work is involved. There are boundary markers in the middle of the big lot to determine where our land is, by the way. We are not absolutely sure of exactly when it will be required as it depends on council approval, etc, but we expect this service to be required sometime between 24/09-14/10. Could you also please let me know the notice (in number of days) I should give you in advance to hire your services? Thank you very much
